Snake Prairie

Snake Prairie is a map dominated by bushes, with only the open spawns and the center area free of vegetation. There are 13 wall clusters scattered across the map, and it lacks symmetry. Here are some tips for playing on Snake Prairie: For lower Trophy ranges: Heavyweights and assassins: This map is great for heavyweights and assassins in lower Trophy ranges. These Brawlers should stay hidden in the bushes and ambush the opposing team. If they are ranged assassins, they should periodically check and clear bushes since they often have low health. Brawlers like Shelly, Bo, and Griff are good choices for this strategy. At higher Trophy levels adapt to counter strategies: Heavyweights and assassins become less viable at higher Trophy levels due to counter strategies and the availability of Star Powers and Gadgets that reveal enemies in bushes. Brawlers like Bo with his Circling Eagle Star Power and Tara with her Psychic Enhancer Gadget can make enemies visible in bushes, reducing the effectiveness of ambushes. Ranged Brawlers with lower health, such as Colt and Brock, become more viable as they can destroy bushes with their destructive abilities. Rosa's Plant Life: Rosa's Plant Life Star Power is useful on this map. Rosa can take out long-ranged Brawlers while healing inside a bush. Her Grow Light Gadget can also help recover destroyed bushes. However, the Unfriendly Bushes Gadget is generally better as it allows scouting potential targets, revealing enemies, and slowing them down. Utilize Brock's range: Brock is an excellent Brawler for this map at higher Trophy ranges. His high damage and the fire from his attacks can alert him to enemies attempting an ambush. Brock's Super can clear a large area of bushes, making it harder for enemies to sneak up on him. Use his Rocket Laces Gadget to jump away and knock back any short-ranged Brawlers that manage to approach him. Sprout's scouting potential: Sprout's Star Powers can be useful on this map. With Photosynthesis, Sprout is often protected at the start of the game, allowing it to quickly grab the center star while staying protected. The Overgrowth Star Power provides a larger attack radius for scouting enemies in bushes. However, Sprout's close-range weakness makes it generally not a good choice for this map, so avoid the enemy side. Crow's wide attack radius: Crow is good on this map due to his wide attack radius and poison damage. Stick close to teammates, so if the other team finds Crow, they will also discover the rest of the team, leading to a counterattack. Use Crow's Defense Booster Gadget if an enemy Brawler manages to sneak up on you. Crow is particularly vulnerable to heavyweights, so use his Super to quickly escape if needed. Piper's sniping potential: Piper can utilize her Ambush Star Power to boost her damage. Stay at a distance and snipe enemies, avoiding close encounters. Use her Super to fly away to safety or her Auto Aimer Gadget if equipped. Destroy bushes with her Super to make it difficult for the opposing team to sneak up on her. The Homemade Recipe Gadget can reveal enemy locations inside bushes. Gale's support role: Gale is helpful on this map due to his Super, which can uncover many enemy Brawlers and push back heavyweights. Both of Gale's Star Powers come in handy. He can slow down or stun close-range Brawlers and use his Twister Gadget to temporarily block chokepoints.
